Theater: From the New York Times: “Letting Lips Do What Hands Do”

In preparation for the new Broadway production of “Romeo and Juliet,” starring Condola Rashad and Orlando Bloom, the New York Times follows the actors as they work through an intensive Shakespeare bootcamp with coach Patty Rodenburg.

 

The production opens Sept. 19 at the Richard Rodgers Theater. Characters, who will be in modern dress, reflect interracial casting; all the Montagues are white while all the Capulets are black.
